Erectile dysfunction is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance. According to the Massachusetts Male Aging Study, approximately 52% of men aged 40 to 70 experience some degree of ED, with prevalence increasing with age. Factors contributing to ED can be broadly categorized into psychological, physical, and lifestyle-related issues. Psychological factors may include stress, anxiety, and depression, while physical causes can range from cardiovascular diseases to diabetes.
